Description

The Leasing Professional is responsible for leasing apartments and assisting with resident and employee relations at the Sienna Plantation property.

Essential Job Functions

  • To aid Assistant Property Manager as directed
  •  Assist with paperwork, touring property, vacancy issues, and policy compliance
  • Take on responsibilities of the Assistant Property Manager if the Assistant Property Manager is unavailable
  • Work with other employees to maintain a smoothly run community
  • Maintain a professional attitude and work with all employees to foster Watermark Residential team spirit

Qualifications

  • Must have at least a high school diploma
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours/days
  • Must arrive to work on time. Must be able to contact the Property Manager in person or on the phone in case of emergency (no texting)
  • Must be able to live on site
  • Must be willing to work weekends
  • Must have basic computer skills and a basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Outgoing or extroverted personality recommended
  • Exceptional sales skills preferred
  • Exhibit strong organizational and time management skills
  • Must be able to tour community with clients, including walking the community and climbing stairs

Maintenance Technician

Description

The Maintenance Technician safeguards the interests of the Owners/Partners by completing preventive maintenance and daily repairs under guidance of the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager.

Essential Job Functions

  • Establish and maintain good relations with residents, vendors, prospective residents, and co-workers
  •  Inspect vacant apartments and perform all activities necessary to restore the apartment to Watermark Residential standards
  • Complete service requests or inform the Maintenance Supervisor of required vendor assistance
  • Work with other employees to maintain a smoothly run community
  • Assist Maintenance Supervisor as needed
  • Assist outside contractors including groundskeeper and housekeeping when services are required
  • Complete special projects as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor
  • Maintain a safe, clean work environment (i.e., shop, pool maintenance room, storage areas)
  • Adhere to established policies related to fair housing
  • Provide 24-hour maintenance and operational coverage to respond to emergency situations.
  • Assist office staff in delivering correspondence to residents.
  • Document replacement of appliances, carpet, vinyl, water heaters, condensers, etc., in all units. Also track furnace repairs, apartment painting (full paint or touch-up), refrigerator coil cleaning, carbon monoxide checks and other major repairs.
  • Help organize and implement resident functions in conjunction with the staff
  • Perform all reasonable duties as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor, Assistant Property Manager in the absence of the Property Manager, the Regional Property Manager, and Watermark residential staff
Qualifications
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Excellent mechanical aptitude
  • Previous plumbing, electrical, mechanical, drywall repair, carpentry, and pool/spa maintenance experience.
  • Must be able to read service requests
  • Must be team oriented.
  • HVAC knowledge and certification if necessary
